For your safety at night, the security guard ask to see your room keys as you approach the elevators. Nice!!! And smokers, the 18th floor accommodations are the same. The rooms are HUGE!!!! You can fit three double beds in those accommodations. What I love about this hotel? They have so many cowboy events, gun shows, racing events, and various competitions. It’s is a beautiful golden colored building and you can’t miss it, you will see it right as you exit.

If you are driving on the 15fwy north, South Point Hotel is the second Casino you will see on your right side. I wanted to take a moment to encourage all families, solo visitors, and couples to visit South Point Hotel Casino and Spa. I have been in the hotel industry for over 25 years this is probably one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed at. I will never stay here again I should’ve stayed on the strip like I usually do. I guess this is why the hotel is run extremely poorly. And if it’s not a lie it’s completely idiotic for not to have an MOD on property with all these guests in house. She refused to let me talk to a manager on duty informed me there was no managers on the entire property in her department! This is a lie. When we first checked in we ordered two wine glasses they informed me this would be a dollar per glass, once we receive the check it ended up being $4.50 for service charges and gratuity for two wine glasses!! When I called the front desk to dispute it and only pay the two dollars like I was informed on the phone Desirae was extremely rude and could care less about the satisfaction of the guest. Although the waiter was very nice and apologized it just ruined the overall experience. A party of eight people were dining at their steakhouse where the waiter forgot to give us our salads prior to our meal which we paid for. This place is not worth the money, they’re obviously on a huge budget because the customer is definitely not taken care of.
